Electronic laboratory journal and repository in chemistry

As an example of best practice, reference is made to a DFG-funded project to provide an open-source infrastructure to establish new ways of collecting, storing and sharing information in chemical research. This joint project at KIT aims to develop a decentralised electronic laboratory journal that is directly linked to a repository for research data. In this way, a combined system for data acquisition, documentation, storage and publication of the data sets is made freely available (free access and free use).
